Baba Souk Gift Guide

I was chatting on Friday about shopping and supporting small businesses. It’s something I really want to do more! Especially when it comes to gift-giving…half the fun of giving a gift is finding something unique and special, something fun that the recipient might not treat themselves to. And smaller boutiques are the perfect place to find those special items with a cool story behind them--including one-of-a-kind pieces that no one else will have. One of my favorite small boutiques is Baba Souk. They have such fun, colorful items that are sure to put a smile on anyone’s face! I put together this gift guide with suggestions for who you could give each item to…but let’s be honest, I want it all myself. Just email me if you need my address…you can totally send me a gift, you know! Just kidding, just kidding.

Baba Souk gift guide // At Home in Love

1. For your friend with a black thumb…a plant she can’t kill! / 2. For your sister…adorable baskets to store jewelry and trinkets (put some surprises inside). / 3. For the Seattleite…some cloud pot holders, because you might as well embrace it. / 4. For the hostess with the mostest…a graphic cheese plate. / 5. For your bff…a tassel necklace! You can totally get a matching one. / 6. For the new parents…baby dancing shoes. In gold. / 7. For your coworker…this awesome mug. Its funny enough for a White Elephant exchange and cool without trying too hard. Fill it with a gift card to a nearby coffee shop, to make it even more thoughtful.

What’s your favorite item and who would you get it for? I’m also curious, who is the hardest person to shop for on your list?

P.S. Check out Say Yes for today's 24 Merry Days giveaway! You can win TWO bikes from Public Bikes.

Thank you to Baba Souk for partnering with me on this post.

Love Baba Souk! And totally agree on wanting to make a bigger effort to shop small- that's really the way to find the most unique stuff!

Totally love the cacti pillow - awesome!
And love the babasouk store. Have ordered there before - such lovely and special things and Stephanie is awesome as well!
I find the hardest person to shop for is always the one that says she/he does not need anything. I got a few of those on my list. Kids are easiest somehow. :-)
My last resort kinda option for people that I have no clue what to give to are notebooks. Maybe this is just me not sure - but I figure everyone can use a notebook for something :-)
I even wrote a whole post about how to find the perfect gift. Feel free to check it out if you like

Yay, me too! A notebook sounds like a great option for someone you can't figure out a gift for. Who couldn't use another one? Especially a cute one :)
