So much to be thankful for this year...most of all, this sweet babe who has already brought so much joy into our lives (he's five months old today--I can hardly believe it)! This has been such a momentous year. From finding out we were having a baby, to the scary week leading up to Ian's birth, meeting him and holding him for the first time, the first day we brought him home from the NICU, and all the moments and milestones since then--including our big road trip, me deciding not to go back to work, and Ben being on paternity leave. It's been a big, big year for all of us, and one that I'm sure we will look back on often.
All those big life events also made me slow down quite a bit on the blog this year...so I'm thankful for those of you that are still here despite that. Thanks for sticking around, and for following along with our little family and our little home. It means a lot to us!

Also Ian looks so OLD in this picture. He is turning into a little boy and not just a new baby!!!

And yes, Ian is totally starting to look older. He has such good head control now too, and has started scooting a little bit...ahhh everything is going so fast!
