I'm on the Bali blog today, talking about the differences between window blinds and window shades. These are two of the most popular types of window treatments, and they're both great choices. But it can be hard to decide which one is right for your house. Is it just up to personal preference, or are there times when one makes more sense than the other? Can you mix blinds and shades in the same house? And if you've decided on blinds or shades, what about all the other details like fabric, color, slat size, and lift control?
