Happy Friday!

My parents are staying with us this weekend (they came in last night), so I decided not to write a full blog post so we could clean the house and spend time with them. This week has been really crazy…I can hardly believe we had Monday off. It seems so long ago! Ben and I work at the same company, and we moved buildings this week, so it has been pretty hectic at work. Not to mention the fact that we’re having to re-figure out our commute (and on Wednesday, it took us almost 2 hours to get home….ahhhh!) Despite all that, I am in a good mood today because…it’s Friday, and it’s peony season! If that doesn’t make you happy, I don’t know what will. Get yourself down to the farmer’s market or the grocery store--or anywhere that sells peonies--and pick up a bunch this weekend. Instant mood lifters! Just look at those pretties.

Pretty peonies

Happy (almost) weekend, everyone!! Hope you have a great one.

Aileen! I live in Kansas City and seem to be having the hardest time trying to find places that sell peonies! It's making me so sad, because I want some so bad! I can't seem to find any in the grocery stores and don't really have an available market....any tips you know of?! I need some peonies!! :)

Oh no!!! I don't really know of any great sources (I pretty much always get mine at the farmer's market by my house) but maybe you could order from a local florist...or online? They should still be cheaper now than other times of the year...I hope you get some!!
