Gifts for Men

Alright, yesterday we did something for the grads, so today let’s do a post for the dads, shall we? Because Father’s Day is this Sunday. Did you realize that? This Sunday! I so did not realize that until this week. That’s why I’m titling this post “Gifts for Men” instead of “Father’s Day Gifts”…because let’s be honest, anything you order today won’t arrive in time for Father’s Day this year. But if you’re a procrastinator like me, here’s a list of some awesome and manly stuff that your dad totally won’t mind waiting for. Besides, there are plenty of reasons to buy gifts for the men in your life, so hopefully you’ll find this round-up helpful even if it’s not for Father’s Day! Ben’s birthday is at the beginning of June, so several of these are actually things I got for his birthday this year (the whiskey stones and Bigfoot socks--he totally believes Bigfoot is real). I also thought about getting him a waterproof phone case, and the paddleboard I linked to is the one he has!

Gifts for Men (to buy): 1. Whiskey stones -  $19.49 (so his iced drinks don’t get diluted by melting ice!) / 2. Sasquatch socks - $11.50 (Bigfoot socks for big feet...get it?) / 3. Waterproof iPhone case - $89.95 (perfect for water adventures this summer) / 4. His own sink - $1999 (so he doesn’t have to deal with your hair in the sink and all your beauty products crowding the counter) / 5. Man candles - $15 (with man-friendly scents like BBQ, Little Italy Pizza, and Woodshop) / 6. Stand-up paddleboard - $899 (this is the one Ben has…he loves it).

I also thought I’d share some DIY gifts, because these ones you actually could conceivably get done before Sunday…and because they are too cute not to share!

Gifts for Men (to make): 1. Golf course cupcake / 2. Lego cufflinks / 3. Burger balloons (yes, these are a DIY!) / 4. Folded dress shirt card (I’m thinking of making these for our dads this year) / 5. Leather flask cover

Which of these is your favorite idea? Do you have something awesome ready for your dad--or did Father’s Day totally creep up on you, like it did me?
